I`m hoping someone out there may be able to answer the following question. In the 18th century what was the difference between a Court Leet and a Court Baron? I`ve tried searching the internet for the answer but have only become more confused as they basically seem to be the same thing, or am I missing something? Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

It seems to be a subtle difference, but explained here, I would say:
