I am doing a project in class but I can't find the first and the last world war 1 major battle.also plz answer in link to the websites if possible.

In terms of casualties which were bloody major I would guess the Somme battles were the first and may be Cambrai leading up to the last with Tanks.breakthrough of the Hindenburg line was close to the end ??
Just asked a mate who has just walked inAn acknowledged anorak on the Ist we. Battle of the Marne rated first major battle( French major involvement)
The last he thinks was Battle of Amiens which was described as the blueprint for further battles in 2nd W W. Joint service cooperation involved with aircraft involved with ground troops. Pure opinion of course by a couple of amateurs. Good luck with project. :-)
