But why does my cursor take ages to stop whirling so I can look at post.
Don't think it's just because AB is busy. I've cleared my history. Anything else I can do to improve speed please?

But people keep on beating me to the answer ;-(
At this time of the morning, the 'net is indeed busy. I don't think there is much you can do about it though ! What kind of speed are you getting ?
I changed over to BT Infinity earlier this year and I now get 38 mega pixies.

Also, it doesn't matter much how fast your own connection is, if AB is busy in itself. Patience is what is needed but its hard I know...nobody is more impatient than me !

Thanks mikey, I am with BT, but not infinity...the cheaper package, that's probably why!
take it from me cupid. infinity is worse. only have it as they have forced it on to me for a while for free. seems much slower than before.
Hope it has speeded up for you cupid, I get the same problem.

What does a mega pixie look like mickey?
Terribly tiny, almost invisible and hairy all over Marval...also may have pointed ears.

Cupid ...make some enquiries with BT. Infinity isn't expensive and may not cost any more at all, as there are some very good offers around at the moment. Check that you have "Fibre to the Cabinet" first though.
Grasscarp...how slow is your Infinity ? Check it with this :::

If its much slower than they thought it would be, complain like b*ggery !
Mine does the same Cupid. It goes backwards for what seems like ages.
I have just tested mine, with the link I have provided and its a little slower than usual, but not much....34Mb...not bad for this time of day.
Update from the Beeb :::

No apology from the Police and I agree with them...quote from the link ::
Assistant Chief Constable Chris Shead: "We had to act on warnings"
Assistant Chief Constable Chris Shead said:::::

"I make no apology for being as proactive as possible in trying to find him."

He added: "I'd much rather be standing here facing criticism over being proactive than do nothing and explain why a child has lost his life."

Can't argue with him there.
Ignore above...posting on too many threads at the same time as usual !
