It is repeatably said in the bible God is invincible . So why does he appear to always fail ?

He failed to defeat Satan and has failed on billions of occasions to defeat evil
throughout history . In fact belief in him is a major cause of evil, in its self.

How could he not fail, he doesn't exist other than as a concept.
Do a novena (9 days) just a little prayer asking for the gift of faith to believe.
Modeller and Jomifl, I shall remember you both in my daily prayers
Faith is not a gift... but thank you for your concern.
He simply isn't trying hard enough. At his age do you think you could be bothered ? Anyway evil is a necessity in order for you to reject it. Defeating it would defeat the object.

Modeller@ all it show you do not know the Bible, simple
goodlife, your stock answer of not knowing the bible has become tiresome. The JWs who knock my door with the intention of attending my spiritual needs, try to enlighten me, they don't tell me I don't know my bible. Are you too lazy to enlighten us, not capable, or just feel superior?
So why does (SHE) appear to always fail ? Who to say god is a he!
Gender is for physical breeding purposes. A deity has not need for a gender form save to put its creations at their ease. After all if they were foolish enough to appear as, say, some spaghetti like monster, its creations would be fleeing in all directions.
He doesn't exist so he, or she can't fail or succeed !
goodlife, you must try harder. Either use logic or use faith to make your point but you use neither......fail.
He wasn’t invincible. The bible tells us he wasn’t.

//And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.// Gen. 3.8

//And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.// Gen. 6:6

//And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.// Judges 1:19
Ach. Now she believes! Already.

Those chariots of iron again..so annoying when you are supposed to be omnipotent.
People don't appreciate things got too easily. If Judah had been given all he had wanted on a plate he wouldn't have thought much of it.
The chariots served to remind him, and us all, that life is an unending struggle and you don't always get what you want. But you do often get what you need, happily.

Quite right naomi That's why I used the word ' Repeatedly ' . In the bible , psalms, and hymns, an all powerful , invincible God is stressed but the reality proves otherwise. HE/IT can't even be proved to exist.

Goodlife You can't see IT You can't hear IT. You can't touch IT. You can't smell IT nor taste IT.

So YOU Prove to me , ( without quoting a Man Made source, like the bible ) that Despite HIS/IT's infinite billions of failures that HE/IT exists.
Just another in a long list of incongruities that are an inevitable component of any religious philosophy.
//You can't see IT You can't hear IT. You can't touch IT. You can't smell IT nor taste IT.//

I work in IT. ;)
