Janet, you underestimate yourself ;o)

Can you be a bit more precise about what the connection is?
Is it the tap body itself, or the screw-on bit that accepts the hose?

hiya mr builder long time no see!! Its just the bottom bit where the hose goes in that is spouting water all over the place - especially me lol, xxx
A photo would be very useful I think.
or find a pic on internet to explain a bit better.

are we talking about the bit that the hose pipe attaches to and then screws on to the tap?

If so then you should be able to unscrew that piece and just replace it with a new one or check the washer inside the threaded part.

Just clicked on the link and was absolutely amazed can see why you all wanted more info - watering can here i come xxx
Bluebird I'm with you:-) Woman to woman I find the whole thing a nightmare as well. Can't believe it's so complicated. Must have been invented by a man.
*Chortlesplutter*. Really not complicated, a pic of the tap and a little more info needed so we can be sure what we are talking about. Very easy job to do, even for Women.
Listen Ratter. I went to Wickes with the piece I wanted to connect to in my hand. I tried to get an assistant to help me but in Wickes in Hove that's impossible. So a very kind man also looking at Hozelock connectors pointed out the right connection which was all packaged up so I couldn't try it but he assured me it was the correct one. Got home, took it out of the packaging, didn't fit. So it ain't just women.
lol Ladybirder, it was a Woman that fell for it :-)

Hi everyone I bought a new sprayer with all the connections included and found I could just unscrew the bottom bit and screw on the new one and it WORKS Mr Builder you are right I underestimate myself lol. I do however think sometimes that men make it sound more complicated than it is (not you Mr Builder) so that we will think how clever they are!!!
Haha... could be some truth in that, Janet :o)))
