When did Hitler change his name? I saw an episode of Allo Allo where Edith, dressed as Hitler, was addressed as Shicklgruber. That episode must have been set near the end of the war, maybe '44.

He didn't. His father Alois was the illegitimate son of a woman named Schicklgruber, and later changed his name to Hitler, which was probably his father's name; but this was before Adolf was born. So Adolf Hitler was always Hitler. See:
