*If* memory serves, somone once said of this former devout Marxist that he had been wrong about every major issue of our time.
Can anyone verify this please.

John Gray of the New Statesman ?
You could say the same about another well known Marxist, Karl himself. However, they were giving their opinions rather than predicting the future, they were saying what needs to be done in an effort to bring down the bourgiose so that the working classes would be given a fairer share of the cake.
You could also argue Seg, that the above mentioned were talking about their own time rather than the current climate, but the sentments are still valid in the present day, given the financial situation.
