ok I've found the birth registration again and it is for Oliver Richard Hindmarsh registered Jan 1907 and his birth date given at his death was Jan 7th 1907, married Clarice Cutts in 27 Aug 1927 at Royston St John the Baptist. Barnsley. and his father given in the marriage register is (waiting or it to load!) James Hindmarsh and Clarice's father was George Edward Cutts, the original image of the marriage register is slow to load too.
But there's also an Oliver R Hindmarsh married Elsie Billingham in Stourbridge in 1929.
In the deaths there are Oliver Richard born 1907 dying 1977 in Sandwell, and Oliver born 1901 dying 1990 in Barnsley.
Clarice died 2005 in Barnsley.
I have the marriage and death of the one in Barnsley without a second initial.
I'm confusing myself now, the marriage in Barnsley in 1927 was for Oliver father James and Oliver was 26 a miner of station road royston his father james was deceased also a miner, a james hindmarshh signed as a witness, and so this is not the one EK wants then?
Er no :-)
The Oliver who married Clarice was not Oliver Richard, but just Oliver who was born in 1902ish. Oliver Richard died in 1907, the Oliver whose marriage you found died in 1990.
sorry had to vanish outside for a while then and totally let the laptop to fend for itsself!

My Oliver definitely married Elsie Billingham as that's the maiden name on the next generations birth record.
Sorry he didn't die in 1907, he died in 1977.
