my early records

I was adopted as a child & have little info on my life from birth. I do know roughly where I was before my adoption.
Born in Paddington Hospital after WW2 then think I was in a Bethnal Green creche where my birth Mother placed me whilst she worked. No Father. Sent to Suffolk via London County Council to a childrens nursery. aged about 2.
How am I able to research my records? Would love to see my progress from birth to 4 years plus. Any help out there?

you're starting point would be here to understand the process of legal adoption at the time and to understand what records should have been created and where they what authority created them and where they are now archived.
