Halo 3 skulls

right i know were all the skulls are but i have 1 problem when i pick up the skulls do i have 2 keep hold ov the skulls coz if i dont there not lettin me put them away so if somebode could help me i would be most pleased lol ....thanks x x x

I picked them up, got the achievement and that was it, I did not have to take them to the end of the level.
If you do hold them they are a nice melee weapon though.

if you dont get an achievement when you pick the skull up it means it is a silver skull. You only get achivements for gold skulls and you can drop them all straight away.
