Xbox 360 Arcade Console/Xbox 360 console system/Xbox 360 Elite 120GB Console

Right I'm looking at buying a Xbox 360 console just I dont know the differences between these 3 console's, so any answers would be appreciated + do all of these console's allow online gaming?

This was answered recently, if you search back a few pages, it'll be there.

Quickly, don't bother with the Arcade machine, it has no hard drive which is pretty much essential for online gaming. You can only game online if you buy Xbox Live membership at £40 per year. You don't have to have this, but you can't play any multiplayer online games without it.

Buy a copy of Official 360 magazine and there's a bit about the difference between the three and a general introduction to the 360 and Live - doesn't matter which issue, they have it in every issue

ps £40 a year is only retail value.

I got 13 months live gold from ebay for £28(just over £2 per month).

if the payment means a problem free gaming network than i am happy to pay...unfortunately it doesnt!
that said, if anyone thinks that the psn will be free of problems when its numbers reach xbox live levels then you are sadly mistaken.
