Dada pullback cars?

I remember some toy cars which i can recall being called "dada" cars, they were pull back cars, which meant you pulled them back and then they would surge forward at high speed on tracks similar to scalextrics tracks and they had very powerful pullback engines, I can remember them being sold at hamleys in regent street london.
They were scale for scale faster than a full sized automobile according to my memory.
I've tried google and had no results for the toys i'm looking for which means either my memory is serving me incorrectly or that i have the wrong spelling so can anyone please help me?

Your not wrong but it was Darda, a German make if my memory serves me. I still have mine and the track, somewhere in my Mums loft! I got all of mine in Hamleys and Bentalls, the only shops i ever found that sold it! I know you could buy it on ebay as i was curious to see if any of my cars were worth anything.

You're absolutely correct sooper, yes they were called darda cars and were ahead of their time and think they still are. Thank you for a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
