Happy birthday ZX. Despite your unreliable rubber keys, lack of sprite graphics and seriously bad sound capabilities your were the best girlfriend I ever dated. Until the Amiga came along.

OMG My first computer!

i had the amiga, some magic games, enjoyed the " mansion adventure" no graphics but typed responses, kept us entertained for hours on sunday afternoons in the good old days. and donkey kong. those old computers taught a generation how to type.

My first computer was a zx81 but I had various consoles before that.
My favourite computer of that era that I owned is the Dragon 32 which still makes me laugh now....a Welsh computer!

I started on the ZX81 first. I remember being blown away when I saw the Spectrum running for the first time at a mates house!

I remember the Dragon 32 and the Tandy TRS-80!

2 players sharing the same keyboard on Daley Thompsons Decathlon was so funny. Especially as the thing used to slide about anyway!
