Megadrive Game

My grand-daughter is trying to remember the name of an old game she used to play but cannot remember it's title. This is the information she has put on Facebook:
Been looking for an old megadrive game i used to have but can't find it, can anyone remember it? It had a dragon as the first boss, a boss where you had to destroy these spinning eyeballs and a level where you had to kill a giant robotic head at the end... and you could play as a guy or a girl
Anyone recognise the game she's talking about?

Apparently she was only a small child when she played it and is now 20 so it's an old game.

Don't remember the bosses but I used to play a megadrive game where you could be a girl or a boy, really basic platformer called Wonderboy.

Thanks Prudie. I've just had a look on Facebook and somebody else suggested Wonderboy She says that isn't it :) I have been looking online and suggested Altered Beast but that's not it either. Double Dragon, Pandemonium, Ghouls and Ghosts and Biohazard Battle have also been suggested by others. Thanks anyway.

Thanks for that Prudie. She probably hasn't seen that list. She's gone off Facebook now but will pass that on when I see her tomorrow. Although it's a really long list I think she might recognise the name as she has a really good memory.

Sorry to not reply to your post Aquariel but even though I subscribe to all my questions I don't always get a notification from Answerbank. Don't know why this happens but in this case I didn't get one so have only just spotted your suggestion - I will pass it on to my grand-daughter. Thanks.
