Suggestions for ipad games please

Hi all
I am due to get an ipad 3 for my birthday (lucky me!!) and want to buy some games... can anyone recommend any good games...
I dont like fighting ones (I'm a girl!!)
but like the ones that you have to solve puzzles or find clues to progress to another level. A bit like SIMS stuff but maybe a bit more grown up???
Any ideas?

I dont' really play games on mine other than Angry Birds but Scrabble is quite good. You can play against your mates on their iPhones or just against the machine.
