Problems playing Thief 2

I have recently installed Thief 2 on a pc runnign Windows XP. The game has installed with no problems, but when trying to play the game I am met with a blank screen and nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks. Andy008 (Tue 15:23 16/Jun/09)

If you're running XP SP2, then you're in for some fun.
What I had to do was install the official patch, then a fan made patch to solve texture problems, then download an older version of the Indeo drivers. Then I had to disable one of the CPU's on the system after I started the game or it locked up. Check this site out, all questions will be answered, and good luck with it.
