Far Cry 2 is good fun.

But do you mean something quite new?

If so, and you don't mind dropping the "S" from FPS then Amnesia is really good.

Just done the first farcry again (6th time). Love it, the end is a bit tough, you have to jam the first sliding door with a chair pushed from the ammo room.

farcry 2 is excellent.

I liked wolfenstein, could never get to that bloke on the roundabout near the end, so, gave up.

There are sequels to the HL2 project, they're called episodes (I think because they're quite short). Worth picking up after the Orange Box.
