Milk jelly is one of the easiest desserts to make; all you need is evaporated milk, jelly and water. A fun childhood dessert perfect on a hot summer’s day. Jelly is a yummy fun desert that isn’t made enough and definitely should not just be for children.
Milk jelly is a perfect dessert to serve at a summer dinner party or BBQ, serve in elegant champagne flutes or little espresso cups and decorate with berries for a beautiful dessert that looks very grown up. You could always embrace your childish side and find a teddy bear mould and make a fabulous teddy bear jelly that is sure to put a smile on your guest faces.
- 1 packet of jelly
- 1 tin of evaporated milk
- Make the jelly according to instructions on the packet but with half the amount of water. Leave jelly to cool.
- Whisk the evaporated milk until it becomes thick, and then add it to the jelly. Pour into a mould, refrigerate and leave to set.
