Not exactly the one you're after (I don't have the recipe for that although I remember making it in the past) but perhaps this one will do. I can assure you it's very nice. I sometimes add broken walnuts as well.
BOILED FRUIT CAKE

4ozs butter/marg
1 cup soft brown sugar
2 cups mixed fruit
2ozs glacé cherries
2ozs mixed peel
2ozs chopped mixed nuts
1 cup milk
2 cups SR flour, sifted
2 eggs
1-2 tsp mixed spice

Gas: 2 Elec: 300oF or 150oC

1. Place butter, sugar, fruit, milk, cherries, nuts & peel in a saucepan.

2. Bring to boil slowly & simmer for 3 minutes.

3. Leave to cool.

4. Add flour, eggs & spice, stirring until all ingredients are combined.

5. Pour into greased/papered cake tin, place in preheated oven and cook for 2 hours or until skewer placed in centre of cake comes away clean.
