spicey

"save our soup"
the missus has just made a pot of soup and decided to add a little KICK too it
in the form of ground chilli peppers
it tastes great exept the KICK is a little too much .
any ideas too cool it down a little.

Turn it into a 'cream of' soup by adding a pot of natural yogurt
I forgot to say, don't boil after adding yogurt it might curdle. Or failing that, tip off as much of the 'stock' as you can and replace
Thats a great tip merciasounds.
Iremember adding too much salt to a soup,someone said to pop a spud in and it would help.
Didnt make it less salty but thickened it up a treat!
Any other saving soup ideas?
Simply double the original recipe leaving out the "kick" of course...
