But at £3.25 for 125g and £20 per kilo, why would you want to use it?

Thanks Crisgal re Barry Farm foods info - very useful! Thanks.

To answer Androcles - I saw the powdered spinach listed as on sale at the online supplier I use for all herb & spice refills I need, so wanted to know if it is a good alternative to the fresh variety. Storing spinach from fresh is both space-consuming & it goes off quickly. Frozen is fine but again space-consuming.

I think the answer seems to be that the powdered variety is MAINLY used in those breads that have a green colour. And I don't bake breads!

So I don't think it is for my needs at all.

Any further ideas anyone, or info to prove me wrong re powdered not being a substitute for fresh spinach, do let me know!
