Just been watching yet another cooking programme , yes I like them ...hee , and it never ceases to amaze me how very rare they cook the beef , pink beef seems to be the fashion . How rare do you like yours , if you do eat it that is . ? I like mine cooked through thoroughly , when I can eat it again :-) xxx

hey bigmamma! when my ex saw very rare meat he used to say "a good vet would have that back on it's feet in no time!"

I like mine cooked though, but beef can be hard work so I like mine done "medium".

The rarer the better for me. I order steak 'blue' when I eat out

Lol sara and bensmum , I don't think it would do anything for my appetite if I saw any pinkishness or ...cringe...blood !
There are lots of people who do like it like that though and it hasn't caused a mass case of food poisoning ..lol
Bare knuckle fight, meat with blood ooozing out of it, Ethel is Dracula in disguise. :-)

I like mine well done, but my wife would eat the meat if it was still alive, makes me want to do a technicolour yawn

I do like the complete opposite as well when making a stew. The longer slow cooked stew is lovely. Melts in the mouth. Yum
i like mine medium to well done, pink, but not bloody.
My hubby likes blue steak. It looks like an autopsy. When it's brought out to him it's practically still mooing
