2 x tablespoons bisto
1 x whole onion
1 x pint of water

boil.....

wallah
Oven cook onions (and whatever meat your having it with, Sausages the best) in Veg oil. If no meat, just fry off onions a little with the oil.

Add flour to make a roux

Add chicken stock (or veg) and gravy browning

Season to taste!
The onion gravy I use is I gently fry my onions in either butter or oil or a mixture with any seasoning I want until they are softened slightly I then add a tin of chopped tomato and water to taste and add a vegtable stock cube or two. (I sometimes do not add any water so I have a nice rich chunky sauce.) Hope this helps
Tablespoon of instant bisto...boiling water..bob's your uncle.
