I have a recipe that says I need a can of apricot nectar.

Anyone know what this is & where I can get it?

I think the recipe book is Australian.

I don't know about a can, here in Germany you buy it in cartons like orange juice.

Different is juice is 100%, while Nectar is min 30%, I think. (not sure about the exact number, but not pure).

I think any larger supermarket should stock it, even in England.

Try an Aldi or Lidl store for cartons, may have it there.

Or put some apricots with a little lemon juice and sugar into a blender and pulp them, then strain.

Nectar is the name for the apricot juice. Are you just glazing a cake? If so, make a syrup form canned apricots and a little extra sugar, warm it through and brush over the cake, or add water to an apricot jam and again warm to a thin consistency and use that.

italian delicatessens sell all fruit nectar.

its delicious!!!
