They're having cottage pie, I'll have a tuna baguette.
Dolly Parton.
Question Author
Don't you fancy cottage pie, Sher?
I rarely eat with the others because I make them eat properly - I'm horribly picky and my diet is appalling.
Question Author
That's an interesting dish, Talbot.

Sher, there are worse things you can eat than a tuna baguette. I'd love one but crusty bread repeats on me at the moment and makes me feel sick. I didn't eat a morsel until 2:30pm yesterday - a little bit of crusty bread with cheese - and I felt sick and unable to eat for the rest of the day.
I will be dishing up roast pork any minute now. With homemade apple sauce, yorkshires, roasties and a vegetable selection. All washed down with a white wine.
Later we may sit outside as it is nice and enjoy a cornetto or magnum.
Crackling Sharon?
Question Author
That sounds fantastic, Sharon. You've just reminded me that I have a white choc / pistachio icecream in the freezer.
Just had a sausage butty today with tomato sauce, had a big meal out yesterday so that will do for this weekend !

There's no preacher though.
And for main course I will have roast chicken, roast potatoes, roast shallots and a medley of steamed veg with a sherry gravy. To follow will be chocolate fondants with raspberries and pouring cream.

What to have for afternoon tea though.....
Just look in your freezer Eccles there is probably a whole lamb and a vat of ice cream along with several lobster and a sous son of cow pat!!
Well I don't know yet. I told Mr.Sam I am not in the mood to cook, told him there is a chicken in the fridge, don't worry he says. Mmmm, let's see what he does with it
Question Author
He might surprise You, Sam.

I've let my husband cook a couple of times and I was pleasantly surprised.
Mini oatcakes with chillies and cheese with a cup o tea.

Something more exciting later, apparently. :)
It's too nice outside to waste time in the kitchen - so I'm having a mojito and nibbles on the terrace :)
Just had a bacon roll with brown sauce and a cup of tea. Don't feel like going back to the gardening now though!
