Frosting + Pink Food Colouring

Okay, so my next cake is going to be rose, cardamom and pistachio, with a white chocolate and pistachio praline ganache.

I have a jar of pale green pistachio praline which I will whisk into the ganache, but if I add pink colouring (I want to pipe little rosebuds all over the cake), will it turn a funny colour?

I would imagine it will result in a sludgey shade of khaki.
