My Oh who is a type 2 diabetic has had to have five teeth in a row taken out. He might have to have nearly all of them out sometime soon.

I am looking for ideas for food that I can give him that doesn't require too much chewing.

Am looking for nutritious food that will fill him up.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Thick soups, milk puddings.
If you buy a stick hand blender with a blade, he can have many cooked things just blended up instead of chewing. The only thing I would say is blend things separately so he gets separate neat quenelles of food on his plate and not one big pile of grey sludge.
Pates... preferably homemade, soft scrambled eggs, soft cheeses, avocado, pureed root veg such as sweet potato, cauli(with cheese).
Pork scratchings or peanut brittle:-)

Cheesy potato purée, gnocchi with a tasty sauce, simple microwaved steamed lemon pud with custard (and yes it can be Bird's!)
