I've got a rather large amount of it made by yesterday's cook...already cut into portions.
Any suggestions as to what I could do with it.

I did it!...deep fried them and they puffed up. Smelled and tasted like French toast. Added cinnamon sugar and custard...yummy. All the clients loved them. Though looking at them just out of the fryer one would be forgiven for thinking they were roasties....
I would have thought freeze and then re-serve with a fresh coulis to accompany.....

Not sure that would have worked, DT. Made by our volunteer cook who's generally quite good. But this was stodgy as hell.
Cannot understand the concept of 'left over'bread and butter pudding - my absolute favourite ;-)

It was a HUGE amount granny...

That and crumble are my favourites....mmmm
Job done then Pasty better than binning them for sure. I don't have a sweet tooth but apple crumble or cheesecake, you'll melt my heart.
*Pasta... ahem, making me hungry.
