Lately I have become somewhat addicted to (Sheep's Milk) Feta.I realise that it's not to everyone's taste, but I could live on (any) cheese.
Do you like cheese (some people loathe it) and if so what is your favourite?

If you can find it, the French St. Nectaire is wonderful.
I like strong cheese and once bought some Munster cheese in Strasbourg. I kept it on the outside window ledge of my hotel room to keep cool ( it was December) but my return flight was delayed for several hours by fog. After several hours in overheated airports the smell coming from my hand luggage was indescribable :(
Feta, Austrian smoked and strong Cheddar not keen on French soft cheeses/
I'd much rather have a cheese course at the end of the meal than a sweet dessert.

Wherever I am I favour the local cheeses, always good to do some exploring and tasting.

I'm not sure I could specify a single cheese as a favourite but Godminster Cheddar is up their for its beautiful texture.
I love Cheshire Cheese and I also like Feta. Both are crumbly, acidic and salty. Lovely.

Jackdaw, If you want some fabulous Cheshire, google, The Cheshire Cheese Company.
I have never had Feta, but I like most cheeses.
halloumi is lovely as well, with a Greek salad and some Greek bread.
I used to love Boursin cheese, but due to its very garlicky effect, I can only eat it on Saturday night, when I don't have work the following day !
I have never tried halloumi. Is it a soft spready cheese?
No tilly its a semi hard salty cheese that you cook it doesn't lose its shape and tastes lovely with a salad - its chewy and firm when cooked
halloumi is a hardish cheese, sprinkled over a Greek Salad its lovely.
I'll like it if it's salty. I'll give it a go. Thanks.
Halloumi, nice if you grill it, known as the squeaky cheese.

Dave.
In Greece fried Halloumi is called Saganaki.
The only way to eat halloumi is when it is fried or grilled for breakfast otherwise it is just rubber. I like feta but a friend of mine who is a farmer says that feta tastes like a billy goat smells and to be honest, she is right.
I lurve feta. In the summer I have it crumbled into salads. The other day I had falafel, Feta and a dollop of hummus in rolled up flat bread!!! Delish.
I like most cheese, but my favourite is a nice mature cheddar.
If I make a Stifado (Greek stew) I crumble feta on at the last moment.

Love most cheeses, strong Cheddar , so strong it bites you back and like a white Stilton.
My favourite cheeses are as follows...Cambazola Blue Brie, Beenleigh Blue (a sheep's cheese) and white Stilton. Delicious!
