I'm at work, having feasted on a champagne breakfast this morning of artisan breads, cheeses, paté, crevettes, smoked salmon and charcuterie. Sumatran coffee to finish. It was our anniversary yesterday. Gush....

I simply couldn't eat another thing today.

What's on your menu today?

That sounds good. A nice roast dinner without all the prep and washing up. Plus they're licenced - what's not to like....
€10? must be abroad.
Except I can't drink. The pub is about 10 miles away. I'm sitting in the hotel using their internet art the moment. No doubt when I get back to the house ginge Will be drinking so he can't drive.
No idea, had a late night so having a PJ day today.

There is chicken, bacon, new pots, peppers, onions, tomatoes and store cupboard staples to call on. Brain to addled to pull it together into menu though.
Oh happy anniversary - how long have you been married?
I'm in Ireland, Jack. Came for a party and decided to stay another week.
Oh sunday dinner is roast pork, yorkies, roastie, cabbage and brocilli, apple sauce and gravy.
Question Author
1 year, Islay. Pork sounds delish. I have a belly joint in the freezer.

A few stiff gins last night, Eccles?
Roast chicken, roasties, parsnips, pigs in blankets, vegetable medley, Yorkshire and gravy. Not forgetting the asti!!!
I was on best behaviour NOM as I was on the top table with the bigwigs.

I don't think I let the side down, can't remember doing so anyway......... ;-)
Yorkies should only be eaten with beef, or at a stretch, lamb. To eat them with anything else is just common.
NM.I had no idea you had married ( kept that quiet) congratulations .
The man thing is cooking dinner tonight, I did breakfast, it took my mind off my hang over for a while. We have got a nice joint of lamb and all the usual trimmings, if he remembers.
Question Author
It's not common, JD, it's "fusion" style ;)

Yum, Sharon and Tashi. Roast dinners are my favourite.
Why is eating Yorkshires common?
Lamb casserole - all fresh veg and roasties.
'All the trimmings'. God, that makes me laugh.
Yes do tell why is eating yorkies common if its not with beef?
They don't do it at the Palace.
