A Post To Annoy Sqad!

From time to time I'll notice that an AB member has reached a 'landmark score' of 'best answers'. When I do so, I like to post a congratulatory message here in CB.
However that often seems to annoy Sqad, who'll then post a response about how meaningless 'best answers' are anyway.
Even so, now that I've noticed that one of AB's BEST-LOVED and most WELL-RESPECTED members has achieved 500 'best answers', almost entirely within a specialist field which few others can really help in, I feel compelled to say a hearty WELL DONE to him and to offer him my personal CONGRATULATIONS as well as THANKS to him on behalf of all AB members, whether Sqad damned well likes it or not!!!

I got up in a good mood today after rogering the wife and kicking the cats out ( or was it the other way round?) , come into my study to check AB and see your thread. 500? the Crossword folks could knock that little lot off in a rainy week end.
However:
I would like to thank Buenchico for having faith in my expertise,my grandma and granddad for giving up their precious time to coach me for AB, my mother, father(if i knew who he was) for sending me to Eton to continue my studies and also the folk of AB for encouraging me to continue to attract the accolade which i richly deserve. The wonderful, loving empathetic comments of ummmm, Jack the Hat, Anneasquith, Postdog, without which I would certainly not achieved my lifetime ambition of 500 BA on AB mainly in a restricted area of specialised knowledge.
Thank you Chico for bringing this modest milestone to the attention of my followers and from AB's BEST-LOVED and most WELL RESPECTED member of AB.....I thank you all and wish you a good day.
