very good I used to buy the £6 for 2 from Tesco, also very good.
Makes one wonder how.
You get what you pay for
You have to shop the deals and have your wits about you - Meal deals are great.

Recently Tesco - a main course, a side dish and a dessert (all for 2) plus a bottle of wine , £10.
M&S do that every week,mamya.
Yes that's very good. No doubt very tasty too. The only thing I would say is check the fat content. Unless that doesn't bother you?
and some of the M&S offers are very good too - tip - get to your local M&S at 8 on a Monday morning (but not Truro as I have that covered) - they have some hefty bargains on stuff about to go out of date - and we all know there is more 'shelf life' than what they publish..... the meat section is well worth an early visit - chicken and guinea fowl discounted by about a third.....
The M&S two eat for a tenner with wine often includes a roast chicken that could feed four.
@patsy...I'd worry more about the sugar(and maybe salt) content...it's in everything, and doesn't need to be.
Oh yes, I know about the M&S ones but it would cost me another ten pounds to get there and back, great if you are nearby.
Glad you enjoyed it but I find supermarket curries are so bad, they're almost offensive.
When you've tried a decent British Indian restaurant quality curry, you'll never eat another supermarket meal again.
