You've just cooked yourself a lovely piece of salmon...

There are many important nutrients in the skin of most fish, and almost all skins are edible. Salmon skin, for example, contains concentrations of omega-3 fatty acids. This is because the salmon’s fat is in the layer just beneath the skin, so when it is cooked with the skin on, the skin soaks up these (healthy) fats.
NEVER!
^Always get it skinned before cooking.

I have to say I'm surprised by the amount of 'No's

It's bootiful!
No. It would be tough enough to get the oily sickly salmon down.
salmon isn't lovely unless its tinned or smoked.
Yuk!!
Have to agree with woofgang. Spot on, my sentiments entirely.
Tinned salmon is good for two things - putting into fishcakes or giving to the cat as a treat.
Or maybe putting into a sandwich at a push.

I've reported that disgusting reply.
What's it do with you f face?

Anyway, I'd give the skin to Zac.
No - and I don't eat the 'brown' layer under the skin either.
I will eat it if it's nice and crispy....lovely.
Of course I do. It's full of flavour. Strange question.
