DTC - //Andy - I've been on a minimum carbs diet for close to three months now and 32 pounds gone as a result this morning, no sugar, no spuds, pasta, cakes, rice, cookies, bread and looking at carbs/sugar on everything I get.
Guess what, the only thing I have occasionally mixed is a bit of pasta.
I'm allowed porridge as that's good for cholesterol (low on that) but with the extra cheese/meat that I am eating - and it has slow release carbs in glycaemic sugar and if I need a sweetener then honey or maple syrup, something more natural.
Two more pounds, a check of my bloods and then I start to introduce carbs on a measured basis, the quack reckoning whilst my body comes into natural line with my daily carbs need, I'll take off another 1.5 stone...... //
That's impressive!
I don't actually eat very much - just that my sugar content is really high. I am 13.5 stone, and 5'10'', so I am not massively overweight, just a bit of a veranda over the fun factory!!
