I am just cooking some salmon pieces, which we are going eat cold, with new potatoes and salad.

Can anyone suggest a tasty, low calorie dressing, to drizzle over the cold salmon? Thank you

Ta, scrivens.
Vinaigrette of Balsamic vinegar and light soy sauce.
i like tsatziki with chicken & salmon, well most stuff really, if you make it with low or no fat greek yog, its fat free.

its only yog, cucumber, garlic & a squeeze of lemon
For God's sake, why ruin a nice meal with salmon, new potatoes and salad with a .......I can hardly bring myself to say this......."low calorie dressing"

What do you think that it will achieve apart from ruining the taste of a nice piece of salmon?

Use....fresh lemon mixed with an expensive olive oil and dribbled onto the salmon. (Mrs sqad mixes the dressing at my request)

Low Calorie dressing...my @..se.
A Salsa verde? Chopped parsley, capers, touch of garlic, lemon juice and olive oil.

Peeled and de seeded ripe tomatoes, herbs of choice, lemon or lime juice, splash of oil all blitzed together.

I have a passionate hatred for recipes that are adjusted to make them LoCal but mixing mayo and 0%Fat yogurt with flavourings of choice eg herbs, garlic etc.... is a way ahead.

Tzatziki using 0% yogurt would be OK.

Oh good, I'm not the only one that takes issue with low cal stuff.

I put much more stock in a balanced diet than a single meal taken in isolation.
ooops! sorry.Tilly...NOT lemon....but LIME...sorry.

I didn't want anyone wasting their time suggesting things I could not possibly eat.
Sausages are good Tilly, there's really nothing to fear ;-)
Olive oil with pulvarised lime and coriander is nice with cold salmon.
low calorie-eeek!
Sqads suggestion sounds lovely and not that high in calories -a tablespoon of good virgin olive oil is only 50 calories, thats less than half a potato. Wash it all down with a White Burgundy or even a Pinot Noir if you want to be controversial.
crème fraiche with grated cuecumber and sesame seeds or with finely chopped watercress and a squeeze of lemon x
