We are holding a movie night with the 80's and most recent 'the thing' I normally do food inspired by the film showing but I am totally stuck on this one.

Nouvelle cuisine came in at that time - I was once taken for one such meal in the Trocadero in London when it was newly-opened. Had fish n chips on the way home. Not food for hungry people....
