Deep frying, shallow frying, pan fried...which means minimal oil.

@ boxtops. I was under the impression that pretty much all shellfish are fat free and high in protein. I stand to be corrected tho !!!
monkfish is pretty good, not sure how you cook it though
Edible. Battered.
seabass, salmon, seatrout, monkfish.

mirepoix of shallots, carrots, leeks, - then chilli...

make a foil parcel, fish on top of veg

splash of 1/2 white wine 1/2 Noilly Prat.

Black pepper, some herbs of choice

Fold and bake for about 10 - 15 mins depending on heat of oven/thickness of fish.

Serve with a little raspberry purée mixed with chipotle, yummmm.
Shellfish not banned on low fat diet.
and anything like steamed new spuds.

I love all kinds of fish (and sea food). My favourite fish dish is plain old fish pie with cod, smoked haddock and salmon. I make it regularly.
Birds eye cod in batter with McCain crinkle cut oven chips.

Sarsons malt vinegar. Colmans tartare sauce.
