I cannot remember ever having cooked one.

My Mum used to do it as a treat on a Saturday. From a long distant memory she served lamb cutlet, steak, lambs kidney and pork in some form I think. All served with chips, fried mushrooms and roasted tomatoes.

I can't quite get my head around such a meat fest today though!
