Ham keeper

When you buy a ham it comes (normally) wrapped in some sort of mesh that keeps it fresh.
What is this called please, and where cn I get one?

I would have thought it is used to keep the meat together, rather than fresh. Ask if your local butcher can sell you some. They must have it on a roll.

I'm not aware of it being available to the domestic market.

You might be able to buy a length from a butcher but if a butcher is using it he's more likely to be a meat retailer than a true butcher.
