Brennand's Cumbrian pork pies from Kendal
Supermarkets are often dropping products I want. Most disappointing.
It looks as if they do not exist any more......

And they were bought by General Mills just before....hmmmm
The ones in the pinkish colour wrapping paper are lovely. Can't remember the brand. Someone's name, I think.
pork and pickle pie. my dog loves them too!
I have never tasted a "nice" pork pie, which is highly unfortunate for me - as I would love love love to sample a true (non grisly), succulunt "real" meat pork pie, with crispy pastry but the one's in the shops I find are truly disgusting! They are crunchy inside with debatable meat content, and soggy pastry, really grim imho!
I won't eat them....yuk yuk yuk. Even the quality ones....yuk!!
Best one ever was from a wee shop in Brampton in cumbria..........
The best ones my OH ever had were from a little butchers in Grange over Sands, Lake District. You know that if theres a long queue and they sell out quickly that they must be good. Otherwise, I get them from M & S. I dont eat red meat so never have them
