Definitely cook the pineapple.
I'd fritter it for extra yum or brush with a little honey and grill it
A bit of charring on the edges of the pineapple caramelises the sugar and makes it extra tasty.
Cook... although personally, bin the lot... a truly hideous meal.

i'm not eating it but cooking seems to make more sense than not

i'll just have the gammon and egg
Personally I wouldn't cook it - delightful meal nevertheless.
keep the pineapple for dessert... cook in a mix of melted butter and golden syrup until it starts to turn to toffee add good clotted cream ice cream...
Lol I'm with Snaggy, however I would cook the pineapple. :)
Flash fry the pineapple for 30 seconds each side in some juices from the gammon ...

... and I prefer my egg slightly runny please :+)
Question Author
pineapple has been specifically requested to accompany the eggs and gammon (blurgh)

i can;t eat pineapple anymore, shame as i love it and rowans idea sounds lush
I do mine with a layer of cheese sometimes instead of the egg or pineapple.... thats quite tasty

cheese i can do :-)
When I served this at work, the pineapple was always grilled on top of the cooked gammon for a minute or so, till warmed through.
