Marmite crisis hits New Zealand.

Anyone know just how Southern Hemisphere Marmite differs from ours?

I love marmite. I have it on my toast every morning and use a jar a week.
NZ marmite is disgusting. When I went to live there for a year I took a huge jar of marmite (english one) with me. Vegemite is even worse!
I had a tuna roll for lunch but now want marmite... I happen to have a jar in my desk...
Was drawn to this thread by the mention of Marmite. Yummy.

Vegemite is just horrid, although a friend who was brought up on Vegemite thinks Marmite is vile.

Toast and Marmite now for lunch.
Sounds as though i am the only one that doesn't like this horrible nasty stuff.

^ Well it wouldn't do if we were all the same - so more for the rest of us :D!
I can't stand marmite as a spread - although it's useful as an ingredient in stews etc.

Bizarrely I quite like Twiglets and these crackers are superb ...

They sound great Dave, thanks.
They sound and look as if they could be very tasty, but appear to be somewhat expensive at £2.39 for 5.2ozs.

Ron.
