mrs owd has made crab cakes, using good quality tinned white crab meat,mash and capers, mmmm.

Recipe for NoMercy.
Serves 4
1 tin white crab meat, 1 lb potatoes, 1 tablespoon chopped capers, 2 tablespoons chopped parsley, salt and cayenne pepper, butter and oil for frying.
First boil and mash the potatoes with a teaspoon of butter.
Put potatoes in a bowl and add the capers and parsley.
Drain a tin of crab and add to the mixture, season with salt and cayenne pepper.
Shape into 4 fishcakes and fry in a hot pan with the butter and oil until brown, turning once.
Transfer to over proof dish and heat through in the oven for 10 mins, Gas 6, 200/600.
Serve with a tin of mushy peas.
