Because I hate waste..can anyone tell me how I can make use of a carton of double cream that I froze and sadly it has now 'split'. Tried whisking it but it tastes all grainy. What could I do with it where that wouldn't matter, if anything!?

I've heard that beating in some water may work...I've not tried it myself.
if its split, is is salvageable ?

Not really salvageable, but will try the water idea. Thanks for links pasta.
If you heated it in a sauce/custartd would that help melt it I wonder?

I know it's a bit late, but in the future, whip it first, then freeze it.
