Saving the best 'til last...

I know someone who, whilst eating, will select the best bits of her meal and push them to the edge of her plate... saving them for the last 'best-est' mouthful. I find this totally bizarre but have since found someone else who also does this. Anyone else?

Cheap but nutritious dinners!

My sister has always done it. I could never fathom it either.

She is a bit of a pig though and is guaranteed to finish her meal.

Seeing her 'sifting' through her food, looking for the best pieces of whatever is on her plate drives me nuts. I'm often tempted to pounce when she is otherwise engaged and devour the final mouthful before she gets the chance to enjoy it...

On my 30th birthday I was in a pub with my work colleagues, who kept buying me whisky, but I was drinking pints at the time. So I poured all of the Scotch into a half pint glass, to enjoy at the end of the evening. I was really looking forward to what must have been at least an octuple Scotch. But when I came to drink it the bar staff had cleared the glasses from the table and tipped it down the sink!

I do that when I eat pizza. I eat the crust so that I can get rid of it and enjoy the middle. Unfortunately I get too full from the crust and can`t eat half of the middle.
