cooked chicken safe for how long?

i know i must have asked before but, i bought three chickens today 'cus they were on offer. i have cooked them and removed the meat. How long will that meat stay safe in the fridge? Should I freeze it and use in curries etc, straight from frozen?

It would probably be safe for a few days. I would probably do something with it within 48 hours though.
No. Eat it or give it away. Don't re-freeze - it was likely to have been on its last legs when it was cooked by the supermarket.

OK. then the two days after cooking.
Freeze what you don't want to use in the next 2/3 days.
If the chickens have been cooked thoroughly and the fridge is below 5C, then 3-4 days. Decide how much you want to freeze and do it soon. Lots of uses - curries, pastas, soups even stir-fries.
Make sure you put the meat in stock or gravy before you freeze it otherwise the meat will dry out quickly. If you have not decided how you want to use it when it is thawed then stock is best.
