Strange food combinations

Trim's thread about cheese and jam got me to thinking about strange food combinations.

What odd combinations do you like?

Something that sounded odd to me but I really want to try was from the last season of Masterchef. Chocolate ravioli with partridge. Sounds lush!

I like crisps and chocolate together.

Peanut butter and jam on toast obviously.

Marmite and cheese but I think that's also pretty standard.

I don't think I really have any thinking about it... everyone puts crisps in their sarnies too don't they?! THat's a must.

Only joking.....OH likes tuna and cheese. Not my cup of tea...

Tuna and philly blended to a paste and put on crackers is nice.

Anything with toast has to have marmite of the toast, eggs, beans, marmalde but not pate tjat would be weird

I wish I liked food combinations, I tend to be the opposite where I like all food singularly and unmixed

I like black pepper on my Strawberries too.

China - I love prawn cocktail crisps with either chocolate or cheese!! That's my "devil" food. And prawn cocktail and cheese sarnies are to die for!

Redhelen, I was going to make that on Sunday, and then ran out of time. It's on the menu for this weekend!

Oh, and ice cream with salted peanuts and chocolate sauce.

Annie, I put black pepper on my strawbs too. With a little champagne, they are lush!

Cazz you wouldn't last long in this house. Poached eggs on toast is almost a daily thing!!!!
