banana aloo?

have lost a well loved recipe for a dish similar to a banana aloo . After preparing you had to bake in the oven (a fairly stiff mixture - not runny like a curry) and shortly before serving crack eggs into wells you had made in the top of the mixture so they could just cook to a light poached texture. Anybody else got recipe for this dish?

I have looked everywhere to try to find something to help you - but I can't find "banana aloo" anywhere. Are you sure about the spelling? Can you give me any additional information about the dish? Apparently no one else has any information on it either, since no one else posted any help.

thanks for your trouble BBWCHATT. I have tried googling variations of banana/curry/aloo etc to no avail. Think i'll simply have to try and adapt a bombay aloo recipe and trust in my memory. Know there was turmeric involved and frying and popping yellow mustard seeds.
