whip it, fold in some crushed up meringues, stir in some lemon curd & freeze ... brilliant ice-cream :+)

Haha i like the idea mccfluff thanks, thanks sunny dave never thought you could make ice cream with it, not a fan of lemon curd but im sure ive got something i could use instead.
Thanks sunny dave that's given me an idea for my next ice cream making session. x
Oh, I'd whip it and get some strawberries and then invite fluff round to see her amazing trick :o)
I had a big tub of it last week and couldn't decide what to use it for, so I made it butter with it.
Get us some strawberries and then you can give us all strawberries and cream.

Good idea, eh?
Sunny-dave that icecream sounds fantastic....... For my shopping list tomorrow.....
soak a handful of raisins in dark rum

small pot of cream, 2 egg yolks tablespoon of caster sugar and a couple of teaspoons of cocoa powder.. heat gently stirring all the time until it starts to thicken...

Strain the raisins and stir in freeze for about 40 mins... take out of the freezer and beat it until ice crystals are blended.. re freeze for another 30 mins..and repeat until you have a smooth softish icecream.... crush a cadbury flake and stir in and if you have them white choc chips and fudge chunks the sort you put in cookies) back in freezer until 15 mins before it is needed
You could make a fruit fool...equal amounts double cream and sweetened stewed fruit . Rhubarb and gooseberry are traditional but any fruit you fancy, softened and sweetened.
Whip the cream and blend in the fruit.
Simples
