Sometimes "tasteless" describes it too.
Or just vegetables, cheese, breadcrumbs....? Was this a vegetarian meal? What was it called? I'm intrigued now.
Choice ?
I think sometimes my definition of a word differs from other people. Meat to me means animal flesh, so would include fish along with all other animals. Sounds to me you were looking at a vegetable product. I have a potato in my kitchen that is meatless and fishless.
